Indonesia's recent changes to e-cigarette taxation, which now place e-cigarettes in the same category as combustible tobacco products, have caused uproar amongst retailers and consumers. 32.60% of the adult population are current smokers. There are approximately 64.5 million current smokers in Indonesia 62.70% of men are current smokers but only 2.50% of women.
