Where’s the Outrage? | Lack of Urgency Mires U.S. Nicotine Industry | RegWatch

The lack of urgency in US nicotine regulation is leaving adult smokers with fewer legal, lower-risk options while cigarettes remain widely available. Delays, uncertainty and uneven enforcement weaken the regulated market and create space for illicit products to grow. Harm reduction cannot work if safer alternatives are trapped in regulatory limbo. Public health should move faster to support products that help people leave combustion behind.
