Laboratory data can tell us what a product emits; real-world use tells us how it actually fits into people’s lives. Evidence on blu should therefore be judged not only by product chemistry, but by switching patterns, user behaviour and whether smokers move away from cigarettes completely. That is where harm reduction becomes measurable. The most useful question is not whether a vaping product is perfect, but whether it reduces exposure for adults who would otherwise keep smoking.
