Recent reports indicate that illegal vapes contain dangerous metals such as lead and nickel. However a critical review of laboratory studies looking into toxicological markers for some metals in vape aerosol found that the level of metals found in regulated products is well below the strict toxicological markers in all self consistent laboratory testing.
