Several countries, including Australia, Turkey, Singapore, Mexico, India, Brazil, the Maldives, and Thailand, have banned travelers from bringing e-cigarettes due to health concerns, particularly the risk of irreversible lung damage. Recently, Hong Kong also prohibited e-cigarettes. In Vietnam, e-cigarette users face fines of up to 2 million dong (~$78.50), while individuals involved in importing, trading, transporting, or producing e-cigarettes and related materials can face fines of up to 3 billion dong or 15 years in prison, depending on the offense's scale.
