The Wrong Question About Vaping

Every cigarette avoided is a risk reduction, even when the alternative is not risk-free. That is the point often lost in vaping debates. For adults who smoke, the comparison should begin with continued exposure to combustion, not an impossible standard of harmlessness. Public health should ask which choices reduce harm in real life, not which ones fit a perfect abstinence model.
