The next generation of tobacco control measures
The World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control Tenth Conference of the Parties will discuss next generation tobacco control policies, as the incoming New Zealand Government receives strong international condemnation for repealing recent tobacco control measures. In November, the Tenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP10) of the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) was to occur in Panama. Significantly, COP10 marks two decades since the adoption of the WHO FCTC.
