Smoking remains a habit some Americans just can’t kick, with 5.8% of adults turning to the modern allure of e-cigarettes, according to a new Forbes Advisor study. Despite its popularity, e-cigarette usage remains controversial and unsafe, particularly among youth, young adults and pregnant women. 18.30% of the adult population are current smokers. There are approximately 48.7 million current smokers in United States 21.60% of men are current smokers but only 15.20% of women.
