Professor Nick Hopkinson, chairman of Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) and Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Imperial College London is interviewed on Times Radio about the recent ban on disposable vapes and plans to create a smokefree generation. He appears alongside Christopher Snowden, head of lifestyle economics at the tobacco industry-funded Institute of Economic Affairs.

12.90% of the adult population are current smokers. There are approximately 7.2 million current smokers in United Kingdom 14.60% of men are current smokers but only 11.20% of women.
