Global forum in Warsaw tackles tobacco use, countermeasures
The 11th Global Forum on Nicotine in Warsaw brought together global experts to discuss harm reduction in tobacco use. Success stories, like Sweden's low smoking rates due to promoting 'snus', showcased effective harm reduction strategies. 27.00% of the adult population are current smokers. There are approximately 8.5 million current smokers in Poland 27.60% of men are current smokers but only 19.10% of women.
