E-cigarette use among youth on the rise

The prevalence of e-cigarette and HTP use is now close to smoking incidence in Malaysia, according to a regional study conducted by Singapore-based consumer insights firm Milieu Insight.

20.90% of the adult population are current smokers. There are approximately 5.2 million current smokers in Malaysia 40.80% of men are current smokers but only 0.50% of women.
