Azerbaijan to impose fines on e-cigarettes sellers
Azerbaijan plans to introduce fines for various activities related to electronic cigarettes, as outlined in a proposed draft law. The fines would apply to individuals, officials, and legal entities, with penalties ranging from 350 to 500 manat for individuals, 1,650 to 2,200 manat for officials, and 4,000 to 5,000 manat for legal entities. The legislation also includes confiscation of related goods. The amendments are set to take effect on April 1, 2026, alongside a broader ban on the import, export, production, storage, sale, and use of electronic cigarettes in Azerbaijan.
