When Dr Sandro Demaio pulled out his phone to compose a tweet about secondhand vaping, he wasn’t expecting to get accused of spreading misinformation.
“We’re seeing a threefold increase in vape toxicity notifications from secondhand vape exposure,” he wrote. “Kids as young as 12 months inhaling vapour from others around them. Including in cars, and even public spaces. Becoming poisoned from the highly addictive and toxic nicotine.”
